Tucked away on the rocky, unspoiled coastline of Tsitsikamma on the famous Garden Route, lies a little known jewel called Eersterivierstrand. If you haven’t visited this breath-taking part of the world – we highly recommend you add it to your bucket list!

Eersterivierstrand is remote yet very secure. The vast beach is absolutely pristine with three different bays to take a dip or soak up the sun on the lovely soft sand. The rocks are rough and striking – watching the powerful wave’s crash over rocks as the tide comes in will have you mesmerised. The crystal clear rock pools with a plethora of sea life will have your kids exploring all day. Dolphins and Whales grace these waters each year making the view even more spectacular. Fishing off the rocks is very popular in Eersterivierstrand with ample fish wanting a nibble!

For those of you that want to venture out of this beautiful area, there is a magnificent golf course just 2 kilometers away and many fantastic Garden Route adventure activities within a 30 – 40 minute drive from Eersterivierstrand. You can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, zip-line tours, bungee jumping, black water tubing, horse riding and plenty more.
